Happy Independence Day

A happy Independence Day to everyone. This is our favorite holiday – not only is it summer, but it is a time for family and friends to gather for great food. The bounty of summer fruits and vegetables are among us and at their peak of flavor. And nothing is better than grilled meat, fish, vegetables – and chilled fruit. Don’t forget the ice cream! But what I most love about this holiday is what we are celebrating – this great experiment that is America. Let us not forget how special this country is and how our founding fathers gave us and the world, democracy.
